Our high-quality set of Premium T2 awning holders is made of high-strength black anodized aluminum and consists of three milled basic holders: one each for the front and rear, and one for the middle with a recess for the sliding door. The system on the body is covered with felt to protect the painted surface. The clamping takes place using two M8 screws from above in the rain gutter. In between there is an anodized aluminum sacrificial plate with a felt pad to protect the painted surface. The advantages of this type of fastening are obvious: optimal force distribution when screwing on, no bending of the gutter, no rubbing or flapping of the holder on the paint (as is often the case with the manufacturer's holders, despite the rubber cover). Stainless steel brackets for the awning are placed on top. The brackets are provided with elongated holes and can therefore be aligned exactly. On a T2 with a pop-up roof, the awning can be positioned precisely without it rubbing on the pop-up roof seal. It should be noted here that there are different designs for the different types of awnings. You can find further information under the brackets.
The basic holders are suitable for all T2s with standard and Westfalia pop-up roofs.
